Recipe:
First of all, heat the water on medium flame in a vessel. Now put a sugar in it and mix it well with the help of a spoon. When the sugar dissolves, add cardamom powder to it and switch off the gas. Now let the prepared mixture to cool down. After the cooling, filter the mixture with a sieve in another vessel.
Now take a roasted flour in a vessel, add a melted ghee to it and mix it well with the help of both hands. When the ghee mixed well in the flour, then put a prepared mixture of cold sugar in it and make a tight dough. Now cover the dough with a wet cloth for 25-20 minutes to set the dough properly.
After 25-30 minutes, apply the ghee in the hands then gently press the dough thoroughly and make it smooth. When the dough becomes greasy, slice the medium sized guava pieces. Now flatten dumplings of the prepared dough and make a hole in the middle. Widen up the hole to give them a shape like a bangle. Following the shape of bandle, put the thumb inside and the two fingers outside and then gently press them. Through which, a knot is formed. In this way, prepare the rest of the dumplings at a short distance of time. When the knot is fully prepared in the shape of a bandle/ rings then turn the bandle and give them a bangle shape properly. In this way, the bangle takes a shape of a bracelet. In this way, the entire dough of guna is prepared.
Seasoning / Frying Method:
Now add a ghee / refined in a pan and heat it on a low flame. When the ghee gets warm, put the prepared guna in it and turn it after a while to cook it from the opposite side. When it becomes golden (dark golden brown) on both sides, take it out from the vessel. In the same way, fry the rest the prepared guna properly. But keep in mind that fry the guna one by one in a pan.
