Radhanath Swami is an American Hindu Gaudiya Vaishnava guru, community-builder, activist, and author. He has been a Bhakti Yoga practitioner and spiritual teacher for over 50 years. At the age of 19 he left his home for America in search of adventure and spiritual enlightenment. He began traveling to Europe and the Middle East and eventually settled in the Himalayas for more than a year. In early 1982, the ISKCON leadership offered Radhanath Das retirement.
In the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), he serves as a member of the Governing Body Commission.
He is the inspiration behind ISKCON's free midday meals for 1.2 million school children across India and has played a key role in the establishment of Bhaktivedanta Hospital. Mumbai Param Pujya Radhanath Swami is a New York Times best selling author. His books, The Journey Home and The Journey Within, have been read by many people around the world.
Radhanath Swami's life has been a journey guided by compassion.
