Acharya Gyansagar or Gyan Sagar was a 20th century Digambara Jain acharya who composed several Sanskrit epics. He ordained Acharya Vidyasagar as a monk in 1968 and as an Acharya in 1972.

Acharya Gyansagar being an expert in Sanskrit, he was a great Sanskrit musician. At least 30 researchers have studied his works and been awarded doctoral degrees. His works include 4 Sanskrit epics and 3 more Jain texts and these works have always amazed modern Sanskrit scholars.

An official Government of India postage stamp commemorating him was released by Minister Sachin Pilot in Kishangarh Rajasthan on September 10, 2013. Thus he became the first Digambar Jain Acharya in whose memory a postage stamp was issued.
