The birth of Guru Ravidas is celebrated as Ravidas Jayanti. Saint Ravidas was a great 15th century saint, philosopher, poet, social reformer and follower of God in India. He was a shining leader and eminent figure in the Nirguna Sampradaya i.e. saint tradition and used to lead the North Indian Bhakti movement. Sant Ravidas gave a variety of spiritual and social messages through his great poetry writings for his infinite love for Bhagwan and for the improvement of his fans, followers, community and social people.
