The scholars of Kashi will consecrate the idol of Ramlala in the newly constructed temple at Ramjanmabhoomi. The auspicious time for Pran Pratistha Mahotsav has also been determined by the scholars of Kashi. The festival is scheduled from 15th to 24th January, but according to Pt. Jaikrishna Dixit, the successor of Pt. Laxmikant Dixit,
the chief ritualist of Kashi, the main ritual of Pran Pratishtha will be held between 17th to 22nd January and it will begin at the place situated on the north-east corner of the Ram temple. But the worship will take place where Fakireram temple once stood.There will be two classes in the group of scholars who will be consecrated.
According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Shankaracharya Swami Vijayendra Saraswati of Kanchi has inspired the scholars of Kashi for this work in accordance with the importance of the festival of Pran Pratistha. There will be two categories in the group of scholars who will consecrate the life of Ramlala. There will be a section of astrologers, which will be led by renowned astrologer Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid. Whereas the second category will be of ritualists, which will include the disciple group of Laxmikant Dixit.
In the consecration of Ramlala, a sermon by veteran saint and top Katha Vyas Swami Rambhadracharya is proposed. He will deliver sermons based on Ram Katha in the premises of Bada Bhaktamal Temple between January 14 and 22.* Please share any of your suggestions or ideas with us.
