The controversy that started after fat was allegedly found in Tirupati Balaji is not stopping. Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had claimed that, during the YSRCP regime, animal fat was used in Tirumala Laddu Prasadam. The laboratory of NDDB, which is recognized by the central government, has confirmed that the ghee used in making laddus contained animal fat.
Tirupati laddus were sent to Ayodhya?
After this information has come to light, now the question is arising whether Tirupati laddus were also sent for the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya earlier this year. In fact, at that time many such reports were published in the media in which it was said that, to make this festival special, the famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has decided to send one lakh small laddus to Ayodhya.
However, it has not been confirmed whether Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam had sent laddus during the Ram temple festival or not.
Claim of animal fat confirmed in lab test
On this issue, The date of sampling was July 9, 2024 and the lab report was dated July 16. This report claims the presence of animal fat, lard (pig fat) and fish oil in the ghee sample.
