There are many reasons for BJP's defeat in Ayodhya. The party remained entangled in Ram temple. The MPs became distant from the happiness and sorrow of the common voters. The MP's statement regarding constitutional amendment added fuel to the fire. The defeat of Faizabad (Ayodhya) seat in the Lok Sabha elections has deeply hurt the BJP. This is not being seen as a defeat from a normal seat. This is being seen as a major failure of BJP's use of symbols. Many other reasons for defeat are being cited.
