On the occasion of the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22,
the Mauritius government has announced a two-hour holiday for Hindus working in Mauritius. So that they can participate in the programs organized there on the occasion of Pran Pratistha.
The Mauritius Cabinet, led by Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, issued an official statement on Friday, informing that the Cabinet has agreed to impose a two-hour special holiday from 1400 on Monday, 22 January 2024.
