Popular Temple near Kargil City Plateau Nath Baba located on the slopes of Kargil city, it has protected the soldiers deployed in the conflict zone since the 1971 war and the 1999 Kargil war, especially from bombardment.
Despite several bombs falling around the temple in various wars, none have exploded due to the "divine blessings of the location".Soldiers stationed near the holy site believe that the protective aura of the temple has protected them from harm. Due to its 'miraculous' powers, the army and the local people in Kargil consider this temple as their savior. Bhagwan Shiv is worshiped in the temple on the instructions of the late Baba.
