Sadhus from across India are gathering at the Ram temple in Jammu to prepare for the annual Amarnath Yatra. The 52-day pilgrimage, starting on June 29, will follow the traditional Nunawan-Pahalgam route and the direct Baltal route.
Ram Temple, located in the heart of Purani Mandi area of Jammu, opens its huge premises to host the visiting sadhus. According to temple chief Mahant Rameshwar Das, all necessary arrangements, including a 24-hour free community kitchen and medical facilities, have been made to ensure a smooth journey for the pilgrims.
