Former President Ramnath Kovind along with his family worshiped Shri Ram Lalla. He also went to Kuber Tila and respectfully paid obeisance to the huge statue of Pakshiraj Jatayu. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai was already present in the temple premises to welcome him.
According to Rudrayamal, a book discussing the history of Ayodhya, Kuber, the god of wealth, had visited Kuber Mound ages ago. He had established Shivalinga on a high mound near Shri Ram's birthplace, which is called
Kubereshwar Mahadev. Before the construction of Ram temple, the saints had worshiped Bhole by performing Rudrabhishek in this Shiva temple.
