An ancient Hanuman temple in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh has banned the entry of Muslims and also issued guidelines for dress code for Hindu devotees.
This temple is famous because Lord Hanuman is worshiped in the form of a squirrel.❀ Posters have been put up outside the temple in Achaltalab area, also known as
Gilhari Hanuman Mandir, stating that Muslims are not allowed inside the temple.
❀ The dress code for Hindu devotees states that people should not enter the temple wearing distressed jeans and short and skimpy clothes.
❀ Mahant Kaushal Nath of the temple said that wearing such clothes at the religious place is distracting and disrespectful.
“People should come to the temple with decency. They can wear anything outside it. As far as the ban on Muslims is concerned, what is the point of them coming to the temple if they do not want to worship?
