In view of the scorching heat, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is providing four hours of work leave to 3,500 construction workers engaged in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
To protect the workers from the heat, the Trust has opted to carry out the construction work of the Ram temple in two phases - from 8 am to 12 noon and then from 4 pm to 12 midnight. The Trust has also provided pouches of electrolytes to keep the workers hydrated. Water coolers have also been installed at many places in the campus.
According to the Trust, about 3,500 laborers are engaged in the construction work of the first floor of the Ram temple. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has set a deadline of December 2025 to complete all the construction work. The trust wants to complete the construction work of the first floor of the temple by the end of September this year and inaugurate it on the occasion of Dussehra festival on October 12.
