A 66-year-old skilled locksmith from Aligarh has created a truly remarkable and monumental lock,
which weighs an astonishing 400 kg. This colossal creation, with an impressive height of about 10 feet and a width of 4.6 feet and a thickness of 9.5 inches, has been meticulously designed for the iconic Ram temple in Ayodhya. Reputed to be possibly the world's largest handmade lock, this extraordinary masterpiece is the brainchild of Satya Prakash Sharma, a craftsman who takes immense pride in his extraordinary achievement.
With a lifelong dedication to the art of locksmithing from his formative years, Sharma's relentless passion has guided him throughout his journey.
The huge lock has a subtle depiction of Bhagwan Ram, which infuses a divine essence at the heart of Sharma's creation.
The labour-intensive process of building this impressive lock cost a whopping Rs 2 lakh. Irrespective of the expenses, Sharma aims to present his magnificent creation as a heartfelt gift to the prestigious
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, with the aspiration that it finds its rightful place within the grand temple complex.
Meanwhile, the temple trust said that they will conduct the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram temple on January 21, 22 and 23 next year.* Please share any of your suggestions or ideas with us.
