श्री अचलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर (Shri Achaleshwar Mahadev Mandir) constructed around a toe print of Lord Shiv himself, a pit present there to reach the nether world. There is a 4 ton figurine of Nandi sculpted from Panchadattu comprising gold, silver, brass, copper and zinc. Near the temple there are three stone buffaloes standing around the Mandakini lake.
When Maharaj Rana Kumbha was told about the myth of the toe, he checked the myth by pouring millions litres of milk on the toe. When there was no milk left, he poured water from Shravan Bhado and nearby Mandakini lake but the water was going down and down. Realising the futility of doubting the myth, he renovated the temple in 1412.
