The ancient
Shiv Temple, along with being the oldest temple in the village of Chakkarpur, is also the village deity temple of its residents. Baba Sundernath ji, while serving Bhole Baba, established Akhand dhune here because of this reason this temple is also known as
Baba Sundernath Shiva Temple.
Both the ancient and the latest Shivalay are located on the first floor only. A huge statue of Shri Radha Krishna has been established towards the second door of the temple, whose image is made on glimpses.
Adjacent to the temple, a Gaushala run by the people of the village is also located, with a number of more than a hundred Cows. There is a huge public green park in front of the temple.
