History and Architecture of Mehandipur Balaji
Here Shri Hanuman Ji Maharaj is present in child form. The temple is decorated with the presence of 3 deities who are mainly worshiped here – Bhagwan Hanuman, Preta Raj and Bhairava. These laddus are put into the fire pit present in front of each deity informing them of your arrival and the rest is eaten as prasad. Some of these also have to be thrown away to begin the process of driving away evil spirits.
Arzi – In this next stage of the ritual, each offering is very specific. You will have to buy the application from any shop outside the temple. This will include things like 2.25 kg urad dal, 1.25 kg laddus and 4.25 kg boiled rice. You have to offer these to Pret Raj Sarkar and Kotwal Bhairav ji separately.
Savamani – This specific ritual is for those who have some unfulfilled desire in their mind and want to fulfill it with the help of the Gods. You have to tell Balaji that if your wish is fulfilled then you will come back later with Sawamani. However this ritual can be performed only on Tuesday and Saturday.
