Khatu Shyam Mandir is known as the Kalyugi avatar of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Khatu Shyam Mandir is located in Sikar district of Rajasthan, which is visited by a large number of devotees every year. In this pilgrimage site Krishna and Barbarika are the worshiped deities, who are often worshiped as Kuldevta.
The idol is made of rare stone. Devotees believe that the temple houses the head of Barbarika or Khatushyam, a great warrior who sacrificed his head at the request of Krishna during the Kurukshetra war.

The Falgun fair of Khatu Shyam Dham is quite famous. A large number of devotees come here on this occasion. The Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha in Falgun month is the most important day of this fair. It is believed that the mere sight of Khatu Baba removes all the troubles of the life of the devotees. People believe that Baba Shyam fulfills everyone's wishes.
