The establishment of this
Chitrakoot Dham situated on Kaurara Road of Sirsaganj has been realized due to the tireless efforts of Shri Ramavtar Das Ji Maharaj of Chitrakoot. The establishment of the original temple is believed to be around 2005. The appearance of other Dhams in the temple has been happening from time to time.
After
Shri Vankhandeshwar temple, in the same temple of Sirsaganj, so many Vigrahas are present in Chitrakoot Dham only for darshan.
Balaji Sirsaganj is the nearest religious place from here.
Guru Purnima is the most famous and celebrated festival of the temple, celebrated under the guidance of Shri Ramavtar Das Ji Maharaj. Under this, arrangements are made for Guru Puja in the temple and after that Bhandara in the form of Prasad.
In both Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri, Agyari form of Havan is organized daily in the temple premises. On Hanuman Jayanti, the devotees are recited Sunderkand by the Mahant present here in the temple.
There is a proper arrangement for two-wheelers and car parking outside the temple.
