Shri Bhuteswarnath Mahadev is a Hindu temple located in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. This is a very old temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a revered place by the local people and is also known for the world's largest natural Shivalinga.
It is also called Bhakurra. In Chhattisgarh it is recognized as Ardhanarishwar Shivalinga like Dwadas Jyotirlinga. This temple is surrounded by peaceful forest and reaching here gives immense peace.

This is a unique and beautiful temple of Gariabad city. It can be visited while going towards Jatmai Temple and Waterfalls. The specialty of this temple is the huge Shiva Linga carved out of a rock, which keeps increasing in size. It is indeed a magnificent structure and very beautiful to look at. This place is very peaceful and also has great religious importance. There are small temples and chickens around the linga.
The most surprising fact is that the size of Shivling is continuously increasing every year. Perhaps because the number of devotees coming here is increasing every year.

Every year on Mahashivratri, devotees come here for darshan and on Monday of Sawan, they gather here for Kavariya Jal Abhishek.
