History and architecture of Anjani Mata Temple Salasar
The idol of the mother installed in the Anjani Mata temple shows Hanumanji in his child form sitting in the lap of the mother. The founder of the temple was Shri Pannaramji Pareek. His wife died in her youth. Then he went to Prayag and started meditating and worshipping on the banks of Ganga. One day Hanumanji, pleased with his devotion, appeared in his dream and ordered him to come to his abode Salasar. Inspired by the spirit of charity, he started giving cool water to the travelers to relieve their fatigue. Along with this, he started serving Anjani Nandan and Anjani Mata with devotion and remained immersed in their meditation. In 1963, the King of Sikar renovated the temple as per the advice of Pandit ji. Anjani Mata Temple is especially famous for fulfilling the wishes of married women and newlyweds. Married women come here and offer coconut and Suhaag symbol for the success of their married and family life. Apart from the Anjani Mata Temple, there are several other temples nearby, such as the Hanuman Temple and the Ram Janaki Temple, each of which offers a unique and sacred experience.
