Anjani Mata Mandir Karauli - अंजनी माता मंदिर करौली

Anjani Mata Temple is surrounded by Panchana River in Karauli, Rajasthan and is situated on the Trikuta Mountain hill. Mata's temple is a tourist spot along with religious faith. Lakhs of devotees reach this place. Every year, on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, devotees start arriving at the temple at 4 am to have darshan of the goddess. Special treatment is given to people suffering from ear diseases in the temple. It is believed that ear diseases are cured by taking the name of the goddess.

The statue of Anjani Mata is made of marble stone. In the temple, Mata Anjani is sitting with Bal Hanuman in her lap and is feeding milk to Hanuman ji. It is believed that such a unique statue is not found anywhere else. Anjani Mata is the Kul Devi of Jadoun families.

It is believed that this temple has emerged from the ground. The temple was established by Yaduvanshi King Arjun Dev between 1327 and 1348 AD. After this, Karauli city was established on Dev Uthani Ekadashi in 1348.

Kailadevi from Hindaun City and Kailadevi attract tourists going to Agra, Bharatpur etc. Tourists cannot stop themselves from seeing the temple and greenery. Now this temple is being developed as a tourist spot by Anjani Vikas and Seva Samiti. The committee is getting drinking water facilities installed and the Hanuman temple is also being renovated. Since Anjani Mata Temple is situated on the hill of Panchana Dam, a major dam in eastern Rajasthan, it is surrounded by greenery on all four sides.

Anjani Mata Temple Major Festivals
Hanuman Jayanti, Ram Navami are the major festivals. During Chaitra Navratri and Navratri, lakhs of devotees visiting Kailadevi come here for darshan. A fair is held on Dev Uthani Ekadashi. In this fair, devotees offer sugarcane arrows to the goddess and ask for their wishes. At this time, lakhs of people from all the districts of eastern Rajasthan come for darshan.
