Tripur Bhairavi Jayanti is considered very auspicious in Sanatan Dharma. It is celebrated on the Purnima of Margashirsha month. On this day, there is a tradition of worshiping Mata Bhairavi, the fifth fierce form of the ten Mahavidyas. According to religious beliefs, Mata Bhairavi is the wife of Bhagwan Bhairav, who is a fierce manifestation of Bhagwan Shiva. It is said that worshiping Mata Bhairavi destroys secret enemies. Also all the wishes are fulfilled.

Tripur Bhairavi Jayanti Puja Vidhi

❀ Wake up in the morning and take a holy bath.
❀ Clean the temple.
❀ Install the idol of the mata on a wooden pedestal. Install the Kalash in front of the mata.
❀ Also offer sringar items to the mata, apply kumkum tilak, garland red flowers, offer fruits, sweets etc.
❀ Light a sesame oil lamp in front of the mata and chant the mantras of Tripurabhairavi.
❀ End the puja with camphor aarti.

Significance of Tripur Bhairavi Jayanti

Tripur Bhairavi, the form of Mother Adishakti, is worshiped to achieve mastery in Tantra sciences. Apart from this, Mata Bhairavi is worshiped in thirteen different forms like -Tripur Bhairavi, Chaitanya Bhairavi, Siddha Bhairavi, Bhuvaneshwar Bhairavi, Sampadaprad Bhairavi, Kaleshwari Bhairavi, Kameshwari Bhairavi, Kamleshwari Bhairavi, Rudra Bhairavi, Bhadra Bhairavi, Shatkuti Bhairavi and Nitya Bhairavi.

It is believed that as strange and harsh as this form of mother looks, she is equally kind. In such a situation, if you are constantly struggling with some problems, then you must worship this fierce form of Mata Durga.
