Kanya Pujan on Ashtami and Navami in Navratri is considered auspicious. Performing Kanya Pujan in the auspicious time will be auspicious.

Method of Kanya Pujan:
❀ To do kanya Pujan on the day of Ashtami, first of all wake up in the morning and take a bath.
❀ After taking bath, worship bhagwan Ganesh and Mahagauri according to the bidhi.
❀ For Kanya Puja, call 9 girls and one boy from two years to 10 years at home.
❀ After washing the feet of the girls, tie Mouli in their hands by applying tika of Roli, Kumkum and Akshat.
❀ Now after showing the lamp to the girl and the child, take down the aarti and offer it to them as much as possible. Usually, on the day of Kanya Pujan, girls are given Puri, Chana and Halwa to eat.
❀ After the meal the girls are given as many gifts as possible.
❀ After this, bless them by touching their feet and while praising the mata, apologize for the mistake. After that, send them off with hospitality.
