Registration is necessary to visit Char Dham
To have darshan in Char Dham, the passenger will have to register. For this both offline and online options are open. Passengers can register online from anywhere. Online registrations are also being done in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Pilgrims coming to Uttarakhand without registration have got a big relief due to the abolition of online compulsion.

How to register online for Char Dham Darshan?
❀ Devotees can register for Char Dham Yatra through both online and offline mode. For those who want to register offline, several counters have been set up on the Chardham Yatra route. And for online registration you can visit the official website of Kedarnath - https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/.
❀ To register, you will get an OTP for verification. Login using mobile number and password.
❀ Here you will see a personal dashboard. Click on Add/Manage Pilgrims or Tourists to open the window. Fill all the details and save the form.
❀ After the completion of the registration process, you will receive a unique registration number through SMS. Now you can download your registration form.

How to reach Kedarnath Temple?
❀ Kedarnath is located in the state of Uttarakhand. The state is very well connected by road, it can be reached by road from Gaurikund base.
❀ It's also well connected to some railway stations and airports. To reach Kedarnath one has to travel 207 km by road and the rest 14 km on foot.
❀ Tourists can also take buses from Rishikesh and Kotdwar to Kedarnath.
