Jyeshtha Maas 2024 (ज्योष्ठ माह 2024)

Jyoshtha month is the third month of the year in the traditional Hindu calendar. In Bengal it is the second month of the Bengali calendar. In Tamil, the month is known as Aani. Jyeshtha in Vedic astrology begins with the entry of the Sun into Taurus, and according to Vaishnavism it is the second month of the year. Traditionally, Jyestha is associated with high summer, and corresponds to May–June in the Gregorian calendar. In this month, the Surya Dev’s anger increases, by donating things, the Surya Dev gets pleased and gives auspicious results.
Specialty of Jyeshtha month
It is very important to keep fast on Sunday in the month of Jyeshtha, by doing this special blessings of Surya Bhagwan are received. His grace gives immense progress in life, good health, lots of respect and self-confidence. Apart from this, some rules have been given regarding these months, which should be followed. This brings happiness and prosperity in life and gives a lot of virtue.

❀ Donating water in the month of Jyeshtha is very important. In this month, there is strong sunlight, as well as the water level in the ground falls down. Therefore, make arrangements for drinking water for humans, animals and birds. Also give water to the trees and plants. This pleases Surya Dev and Varun Dev.

❀ Donating pitchers filled with water this month is considered very virtuous. If possible, get the water troughs opened or donate pots wherever there are water troughs.
