1. Maa Jwala Ji Temple, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh
This temple of Himachal, comprising 51 Shaktipeeths, keeps the flame of nine forms of Maa Durga burning. The names of these nine Jyotis are Mahakali, Annapurna, Chandi, Hinglaj, Vindhyavasani, Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Ambika and Anjadevi. The visions of all these mothers are in the form of light. This temple is also called the plowed temple and Nagarkot. Mother Sati's tongue fell here, which is why it is included in 51 Shaktipeeths.

2. Mansa Devi Temple, Haridwar, Uttarakhand
It is believed that all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled in this temple, hence the name of this temple was Mansa Devi. Devotees tie a sacred thread on the tree branch present in this temple. After the vow is completed, those devotees come back here and open the thread.

3. Patan Devi, Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh
The right shoulder of Mother Sati fell at this place. For this reason, this place is included in 51 Shaktipeeths. Another name of Maa Patan is also Pataleshwari Devi. It is believed that at this place, Mata Sita went to the earth in the lap of Mother Earth. That is why this place was named Paveleshwari Devi. This temple has no statue, only a silver platform, under which the tunnel is covered.

4. Naina Devi Temple, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh
This famous temple of Maa Durga is also one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. It is believed that the eyes of Mother Sati fell on this place. In addition to the mother of Shera, Kali Mata and the idol ofBhagwan Ganesha are also seated here. There is also a cave near the temple which is known as Naina Devi Cave.

5. Karni Mata Temple, Bikaner, Rajasthan
This temple is also called the temple of rats. You must have heard and seen many times about this temple on TV. Around 20 thousand rats live in this temple. Apart from mice, the statue of Karni Mata is installed here. He is considered an incarnation of Maa Jagdamba.

6. Ambaji Temple, Banaskantha, Gujarat
The most prominent place included among the 51 Shaktipeeths is Ambaji Temple. Because here, heart of Mother Sati fell. But no statue is kept here, instead Shri Chakra is worshiped here. This temple is dedicated to Mata Ambaji and is the most prominent temple in Gujarat.

7. Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati, Assam
Mata Sati's vulva fell at this place, hence offerings of clothes immersed in blood are given here. It is believed that on three days when the doors of the temple are closed, a white colored cloth is laid in the temple which turns red till the temple doors are open. Apart from this, there are many stories about this Kamakhya temple. But this temple, considered the most important of the 51 Shaktipeeths, is more famous because of Rajswala Mata.
