Sama Chawal Kheer:
In the maximum fast practices where consumption of food is prohibited, generally sama ke chawal (rice) is used. So let’s learn how to cook it...
Recipe:
Firstly, put the rice in the water and keep it for soaking for half an hour. Now, in a pan heat the milk on a medium flame and use a spoon to stir it in between so that milk does not stick in the bottom of the vessel.
When the milk comes to the boil, put the rice in it with the help of a spoon. When the rice gets blown (cooked) then chop the nuts and put into it. Now allow the kheer to cook for a while.
Once the kheer is prepared, add sugar to it and cook it for a while on a low flame and stir it with a spoon for 2-3 minutes.
When it is cooked completely then add cardamom powder to it and mix it well. Now cover the lid to experience an aroma of cardamom in the dish. In this way, sama ke chawal ki kheer is prepared and gets ready to eat.
