Swami Krishnananda Saraswati was a great saint and interested in spirituality, and had the habit of reading divine books, and contained great knowledge in Hinduism. He also had expert knowledge of Advaita Vedanta philosophy, Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads and other Hindu divine texts.

Swami Krishnananda Saraswati was a disciple of Swami Shivananda Saraswati and worked at the Divine Life Society in Rishikesh for a long time. He was the author of a large number of texts and was also interested in yoga and meditation. He was a great scholar as well as a great yoga practitioner and taught various types of yoga to his followers like Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga and Jnana Yoga.

Swami Krishnananda Saraswati, like his guru Swami Shivananda, was a humble and great saint. He was also interested in social welfare activities and used to perform Annadanam in his ashram. He was very concerned about the sufferings of the people and asked them to focus their attention on spirituality and show less interest in worldly pleasures and comforts. He was interested in chanting the names of God, and also in reciting various verses on shlokas.
